What I do with your data.
Nothing. The AlMansoori iOS app and almansoori.uk do not collect, log, share, sell, or store any data about you. Read on for the long version, but that's the short version.
The AlMansoori iOS app
The iOS app is a native portfolio plus a toolkit of small utilities. Every tool runs entirely on your device. Specifically:
- No accounts. The app has no sign-in.
- No analytics or tracking. No third-party SDKs, no crash reporters, no marketing pixels.
- No advertising. The app shows no ads and has no ad identifiers.
- No data leaves your phone for any of the document tools, image tools, calculators, QR generator, HTML editor, on-device AI assistant, or games.
Two tools do make a network request, and only when you actively use them:
- Currency converter and the three miles calculators fetch the current ADIB Cash Sell Rate from the almansoori.uk server. The request contains nothing identifying, just a request for the rate table. The server-side scrape itself is cached for an hour and contains only public exchange rates. When offline, the app uses your last cached rates.
- Translator sends the exact text you typed to MyMemory (mymemory.translated.net) so they can translate it back. This only happens when you tap "Translate". MyMemory's own privacy policy applies to that request.
The almansoori.uk website plus browser toolkit
The site has no analytics scripts and no third-party cookies. The toolkit tools all run in your browser; nothing typed into them is sent anywhere unless the tool explicitly states it (currency rates and the translator, same as above).
What's on your device, stays on your device
The iOS app uses UserDefaults to remember small preferences (your last selected currency, your high score in a game, the last rates payload for offline use). This stays local to your device, is never transmitted, and is wiped if you delete the app.
